Grillcraft makes three distinct models of grills. This article will discuss some of the common features and installation steps for the MX series grills.

A typical car for this grill would be the Acura RSX 2002-2004 year model.

You will need a screw driver, an electric drill, a 3/16 inch drill bit, a scribe or center punch to mark where the drilling will take place, and an adjustable wrench or correct size fixed wrench.

  •  1.  The old grill must first be removed. This upper grill is held in place with plastic clips. You can remove them with a screw driver.
  •  2.  The Acura emblem is the next part to take off. It is held on with a screw. Remove this by going behind the grill and unscrewing the screw and the emblem should come out.
  •  3.  You will next mark and then drill a 3/16 inch hole in the car.
  •   4.   Part of your kit is a centering pin. This should be inserted in the bottom of the new grill and the hole you just drilled.
  •  5.  The upper frame of the new grill has two tabs on it, where screws will be placed for mounting.
  •  6.  Position the grill in the proper location and mark the holes in the upper tabs.
  •  7.  Drill the holes.
  •  8.  Fasten the grill with the screws and a flat nut on the underside.
  •  9.  Congratulations. Step back and admire your new grill.
