Grillcraft makes three distinct models of grills. This article will discuss some of the common features and installation steps for the MX series grills.

A typical car for this grill would be the Acura RSX 2002-2004 year model.

You will need a screw driver, an electric drill, a 3/16 inch drill bit, a scribe or center punch to mark where the drilling will take place, and an adjustable wrench or correct size fixed wrench.

Since this is a three piece grille installation, the instructions are a little more complicated than for the top single piece grill installation.

1. First remove the plastic fasteners that hold the upper grille cover trim.
2. Next remove the screws on the bumper from the underside.
3. Then remove the plastic fasteners on the bumper underside.
4. Find the right & left splash shield, and remove the screws located under them.
5. Now you can remove the bumper cover.
6. Using a sharp scribe mark drilling location for vent grille center pin. (Use the existing vent hole pattern as a guide)
7. Drill a 3/16 inch hole for the end mounting pin.
8. Mount the vent grill and properly center before marking other mounting pins.
9. Mark all of the mounting pin locations, without shifting the grill. Drill the 3/16^th inch holes.
10. Secure vent grills with supplied speed nuts on the two pins only (Note the cupped end faces outward from the grill when installed).
11. Note the cupped end of the speed nut facing outward.
12. Now place the center grille into bumper opening.
13. Using a scribe mark the mounting tab center holes make sure to position grille properly in place.
14. Drill a 3/16 inch holes for each of the mounting screws.
15. The drilled holes should be approximately 5/8 inch from the inner edge.
16. Mount the supplied 'U' Nuts onto grill mounting tabs.
17. From the backside fasten the grill screws.
18. Congratulations. Step back and admire your new grill.
