All Weather Hexomat Floor mats
Do you have a life style that involves being outside in the rain, mud or snow? Do you occasionally find yourself tracking debris around and into your house or car? Have you ever accidentally had a drink or liquid spilled in your car?
If you are like most people you answered yes to one or more of these questions. It's part of life to track things around on our shoes and leave things where we walk or sit.
Debris like this can ruin the interior carpets of your car. It's easy to bring into the car, and hard to get rid of. It can harden when it gets dry and if a liquid to begin with, it can stain your carpets.
So how do you avoid some of this mess on your floor? Well rubber, plastic, metal, and fiber floor mat have been used for years to protect a car floor or trucks floor carpets. Some floor mats work fine, and other floor mat have been almost useless. Some floor mats have been designed to be great floor mat protection, regardless of how they look, and others have been designed to enhance the interior with fancy stitching or designs.
However, the basic problem with most of these floor mats solutions is that they are limited in how much liquid they can trap, and how easy or hard they are to clean.
The average flat mats can hold only a very small amount of mud or snow or rain, before it slips off the mats and runs over the edges onto your carpets. So while the idea of floor mats for protection was a good one, the result is almost as if you had no floor mats at all. Carpet mats sounded good, but they offer little protection.
Since their job is to protect the carpet, they get dirty, and have to be removed and cleaned. One problem is that sometimes, you can't do a very good job of cleaning floor mats. Rug and carpet shampoo can be used on your floor mats, but if you waited a little too long to begin, you have a major job on your hands. That grim is stubborn and hard to get out.
What is the answer? One is to choose a floor mats that both traps the debris and is easier to clean. Intra-tech automotive created one of these products and it is called Hexomat. The Hexomat design consists of hexagonal chambers in the mats. Each chamber can trap and hold a small amount of debris including liquids. All together these floor mats can trap and hold an amazing amount. The driver's mats can hold between 6 and 8 cups of liquid! Try that with a fiber floor mats and see how much it absorbs.
Besides trapping and holding liquid, the Hexomat floor mats are made out of a rubber like material that will not crack, fade or easily stain. So you can remove these floor mats from your vehicle and just wash it and when dry replace it in your car. Looks like new when it's placed back in the vehicle.
This is a product that should be considered if you need extra protection for your carpets.
